What it Means to be a REALTOR

A REALTOR is a member of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION of REALTORS and subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics.

Code of Ethics

The Code establishes time-honored and baseline principles that come from the collective experiences of REALTORS® since the Code of Ethics was first established in 1913. Those principles can be loosely defined as:

Loyalty to clients;

Fiduciary (legal) duty to clients;

Cooperation with competitors;

Truthfulness in statements and advertising; and non-interference in exclusive relationships that other REALTORS® have with their clients.

To earn a designation, a REALTOR® a real estate agent has taken coursework and demonstrated specific skills, performance and knowledge in a particular area of the real estate industry. Jeff has earned designations as a Graduate of Realtors Institute (GRI) and as a Certified Residentialist Specialist (CRS).

About Me

I have been a realtor serving the Goshen community since 1994. From day one, it has been my goal to provide exceptional service in helping my clients make the best decisions possible. Moving is one of life's most stressful occurrences. My job is to make that transition as easy as possible. Each client relationship is a lifelong commitment, and I strive to help each client with all their real estate needs, even when that does not involve buying or selling a home.

My educational background includes an Associates Degree from Hesston College (KS), a Bachelor's Degree in business and physical education from Goshen College (IN), and a Masters Degree in Sport Administration from Wichita State University (KS). Since becoming a realtor, I have obtained designations as a Graduate of Realtors Institute (GRI) and a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS).

I have been married to my wife Millie since 1983. Prior to entering real estate, I taught and coached basketball at Goshen College. Current hobbies include fishing, canoe camping in the Quetico wildermess, running and reading.
